| Anion was first discovered
by Dr. Philipp Lenard (1862~1947),
a German physicist and winner
of the Nobel prize in physics in 1905, through a phenomenon called the 「 Lenard effect」or 「 Lenard phenomenon」, in which a large amount of negative ions were generated by vertically pumping out electrons when water was jetted into the air by added force as in a water fall or in a water fountain. Nowadays several anion-generating devices using this Lenard phenomenon are on the market, and many numbers of books emphasizing the contribution of negative ions to human health and healing diseases are being published. Negative ions are friendly towards us, and a large amount of them occur during a shower or even while spraying water onto flowers. Also, an anion is regarded as the top-rated energy that normalizes fundamental bio-activities by restoring innate immune functions of animals and plants and their self-healing ability and maintains healthy and pleasant life through its widely applicable healing power. 1. NANO-FRESH is a non-chemical water purifying system that uses 21st-century new technology. It improves the quality of water by providing plenty of anionic oxygen into natural air. Its effectiveness has already been proved through the anionic-oxygen water purification system adopted for the swimming pools at Pan Pacific Swimming Championships, Sydney, Australia 1999.
